Position: Account Assistant Internship

Location:

  • Lot No D1, Lorong Pusat Perindustrian Sepanggar 5 Pusat Perindustrian Sepanggar, Jalan Penjana, Jalan Malawa, 88450 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Work Schedule:

  • Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with 1-hour lunch break)

Attire:

  • Flexible attire as long as it is polite and professional

Start Date:

  • June 1st, 2024

Allowance:

  • RM700-1200 per month

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Prepare and process invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Assist in general office tasks.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in accounting, business, or related field.
  • Proficient in English and Malay languages. Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar accounting tools.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, petty cash, balance sheets, etc.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
