Working Days & Hours :

• This role typically operates in an office environment.
• Be able to work 5.5 days a week from Monday till Saturday (Half Day) with occasional overtime during peak periods.
• May require sitting for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 – 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Autocount Accounting).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and basic understanding of financial statements.
• CPA candidate or willingness to pursue CPA certification is a plus.
• Proficient in Chinese, English & Malay language.

Job Scopes :

• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling vendor statements.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and assisting with financial statement preparation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by entering data into accounting software and reconciling discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis, including variance analysis and budget vs. actual comparisons.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
• Provide support during external audits by preparing audit schedules and gathering documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and adherence to internal controls.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned by senior management.
