Job Scopes:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position requires a commitment to teaching, research and scholarly activities, and contribution to programme administration and management.

RESEARCH

• Conduct and publish high quality journal articles, conference papers and/or other peer reviewed outputs as appropriate to the subject discipline(s).

TEACHING

• Design, plan and deliver lectures, tutorials and other teaching and learning activities appropriate to their discipline, and subject to the requirements of the University.
• Contribute to the design, development, delivery, review and enhancement of programmes of study within their Department.

ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT

• Prepare materials for subject filing (purposes for MQA visit)
• Lesson plan
• Assignment (question and student answer script)
• Quiz (question, answer scheme and student answer script)
• Test (question, answer scheme and student answer script)
• Final exam (question, answer scheme and student answer script)
• Assessments Rubric
• JSU -OBE Analysis
• Class attendance (list and evidence class online / screenshot)

Job Requirements

• Master in Business Administration (Banking) or equivalent professional qualification in relevant academic area, or any other qualifications as required by MQA.
• At least two (2) years working knowledge and experience in the industry.
• Applicants with experience and skill in Data analytical such as SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) and exposure to the industry.
• Applicants with strong research and publication track record are highly desirable.
• Data Analytical Skill is an added advantage.
• Demonstrate creativity and innovation, as well as a high level of dedication as an educator, actively engaged in teaching, research, and consulting as well as community service.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, a competent team player with mature and positive attitude.
• Able to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Has an educational philosophy that is aligned with the mission of the department and the university.
