Job Description
- ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR
- Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor and do related administrative jobs
- Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs
- Estimate the quantity and costs of materials
- Prepare costing, BQ and documents
- Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
- Keep track of construction materials and inventory for each project
- Prepare work orders for contractors and subcontractors
- Document progress, materials, and reports on projects
- Develop and maintain working relationships with supplier and subcontractors
- Visit site to prepare progress report and claims
- Knowledge of relevant computer software
