KK Young Explorers is located in the beautiful suburb of Likas bay, Kota Kinabalu. The Academy caters to local and expatriate families seeking an engaging English-based education for their child. We follow the British Early Years (preschool) and International Primary curriculum, while immersing our students in Malaysian culture, environmental stewardship and local languages.

The Academy is a proud advocate of experiential hands-on learning. We pride ourselves on our low teacher to child ratio and maintain small classes of less than fifteen children.

Working Hours: 7:45 am – 4:45 pm (Monday to Friday)

Number of openings: 1 pax 

Job Scopes: 

  • Lead and take on Mandarin classes for Preschool and Primary
  • Plan lesson plans and projects
  • Prepare resources and materials for lessons
  • Write reports of students development
  • Work in teams for events

Job Requirements: 

  • Native mandarin speaker with proficiency in both Mandarin and English (Speak, Read and Write fluently with minimal grammatical errors)
  • Diploma or Degree in Education or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the education field.
  • Able to communicate and interact with professionalism
