The Young Explorers Academy is located in Likas bay, a beautiful suburb of Kota Kinabalu. The Academy caters to Sabahan and expatriate families who seek an engaging English-based education for their child. We follow the British Early Years (preschool) and International Primary curriculum, mixed with Malaysian and Sabahan culture, environmental stewardship and local languages.

The Academy is a proud advocate of experiential hands-on learning. We pride ourselves on our low teacher to child ratio and maintain small classes less than fifteen children.

Our Philosophy
We seek to bring out the best in your child, building on their interests and developing core competences. Our curriculum follows the British preschool syllabus, focusing on literacy, language, maths, social and physical development.

Working Hours: 7:45 am – 4:45 pm (Monday to Friday)

Number of openings: 1 pax 

Job Scopes: 

  • Lead a class
  • Plan lesson plans and projects
  • Write reports at the end of each term
  • Work in team for events

Job Requirements: 

  • Degree in Education or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the education field.
  • Skills required: Proficient in speaking and writing in English professionally

Benefits & Remunerations: 

  • Salary Range: RM3000 to RM4000
