PERSATUAN PENYAKIT BERJANGKIT KOTA KINABALU SABAH

This position will work as a team and will ensure data entry is done in proper manner and without delay. The position will work across disciplines as required, including with national and international stakeholders. Whilst the position will be based in Kota Kinabalu, some domestic travel to district hospitals in Sabah will be required.

The position will report directly to the Data Manager and Statewide Malaria Surveillance Project Coordinator.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for accurately enter data in databases
  • Obtain further information for incomplete documents
  • Assist in review of data discrepancies and perform corrections
  • Accurately match documents with records in databases
  • Assist in cross-checking laboratory records with databases
  • Assist in follow-up of research documents with district hospitals
  • Responsible for printing and storing of documents in research folders
  • Perform other duties as may reasonably be required by the supervisors
  • Comply with data integrity policy

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent in related field.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge and skills is mandatory especially in MS Office (Excel, Words etc) with the attention to detail and accuracy of data entry.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Good command of English with all level of staff and excellent organizational skills.
  • Punctual, willing to learn and must be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of database is preferred.

This position is on contract’s full time basis with minimum 6 months length of period including probation period. Successful candidate is potentially being offered with longer period of extension, depending on performance and position’s availability.
