Location: Required to travel to all job sites around Sabah

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for leading project team to complete the project within the contractual period
• MUST have good knowledge & experience to deal with government authority especially JKR,
• Jabatan Air, SESB etc
• MUST be able to handle JKR project and understand JKR standard of works
• Manage resources, schedules, financial and adhere to company ISO requirement during project
• implementation stage
• Ensure correspondence, calibration record and construction drawings are maintained and retained
• according to ISO standard
• Responsible for planning, execution and completion of projects which include coordination,
• budgeting, scheduling and achieving the targeted project profitability
• Able to led team of engineers, supervisors and sub-cons at site
• To implement the required & relevant environment, safety, quality policies and emergency plan
• To take immediate corrective action in the event of site problems being identified
• To ensure all materials request are planned and submitted in advance so that the supplies can be
• delivered to site on time
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with client, consultants, main-con, sub-con and project team
• members in project execution of all progress tasks
• Overall site planning, coordination and management to ensure on time completion of works within
• required standard, quality and targeted schedules
• To ensure all works are carried out in accordance to specification, standard and quality
• To review sub-contractor’s performance and evaluate progress of works and claims
• To analyse on project progress to ensure achievement and meeting project timeline
• To provide timely report & feedback to the management for any substandard workmanship to enable
• proper solution to be taken
• Follow up project off and on site and update the CEO on the progress of works from time to time

REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferable Manager specialized in Engineering – Civil / Construction / Structural or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
• At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Project / Primavera
• Demonstrates strong leadership qualities, team work, positive attitude, strong integrity, strong sense
• of responsibility, good problem solving skills and good time management
• Competent in risk mitigation and crisis management
• Willing to travel from one site to another especially around whole Sabah area.
• Preferably possess own transport
• Required Skill(s): Good coordination, knowledge of construction products, details and relevant rules,
• regulations and quality standards

Working Days & Hours: 

• Working Hours: From 8.30am- 5.30pm
• Work Days: Monday to Saturday
