Here are some Frequently Asked Questions to help you get started.
STEP 1

Register or login at http://www.sabahjobs.com/login/, ensure you register with a Valid & Correct email address and select as "JOB SEEKER" (NOTE: Invalid Email addresses will result in Automatic Disqualification)

STEP 2

When signed-in, you may create an Online resume at http://www.sabahjobs.com/profile/resume/ and upload your photo (jpg, gif or png). Alternatively, you may also upload your Cover letter & Resume.

STEP 3

Browse jobs by Category ; Job Type (full-time, internship, part-time, etc); or Key in the job position under search bar (example : Sales Assistant) or Location

STEP 4

You can apply jobs in TWO ways.

  • Sign-in to submit your job application

You can either choose to upload your resume or select your online resume in the database. Remember to review the job requirements and refer to "How to Apply" section prior to applying.

  • Email directly (no need to sign-in)

If the email address is revealed under "How to Apply" section, you can also directly email your resume and application to the prospective employer.

STEP 5

Final checklist :

  • Check if you have attached resume and cover letter
  • Provide your contact details
  • Wait for phone call or email from employer
  • Follow up 2 weeks after application

Q1. How do I create an online resume?

STEP 1

When you're signed-in, click on "ADD A RESUME"

STEP 2

Make sure to fill in all the fields as complete as possible. Should you receive an Error when Saving, BE SURE to fill in the required / compulsory fields. In the Resume Photo section, you may upload your photo in these formats .jpg, .gif or .png

 

Q2. Can I upload a softcopy resume and cover letter?

STEP 1

Yes, you can upload your softcopy resume when you are signed-in and applying for a Job. Scroll to the bottom end of the job listing and you will see;

STEP 2

Fill in the fields and in "Choose File", upload your Resume AND Cover Letter in the formats mentioned. Make sure the attached file size does not exceed 2MB for both resume and Cover Letter.

 

Q3. I can't login. How do I reset my password?

STEP 1

Click on "Forgot Your Password?" Still can't find it? Go to http://www.sabahjobs.com/login/?action=lostpassword

STEP 2

Key in your Username or Email Address

STEP 3

Check your email (Inbox and SPAM/JUNK), then click on link provided from us to reset your new password.

  • The Password should be at least seven characters long and should not contain any spaces in-between.
  • To make it stronger, use upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols like ! " ? $ % ^ & ) and Click on Reset Password.

 

Q4. Why can't I register?

If you fail to register, there could be 3 reasons;

  • The username you had chosen is already taken, you must choose a different username
  • Your email address could be already registered earlier by you. If you are rejected, there will be an error message, look out for it and see what is the error message
  • Invalid characters or spaces in your username

 

Q5. What should I do if I forget my username and email?

Q6. I mistakenly registered as Job Lister. How do I change?

  • You should provide us with your account information: "Username" or "Email Address"

 

Q7. I have two registered accounts. How do I delete one of it?

Go to Login/Register, ensure to register with a correct email and select as "EMPLOYER"; and once successfully signed-in, click on SUBMIT A JOB and follow through in posting

Q1. How do I change or reset the password?

  • Click on Forgot Your Password?
  • Key in your Username or Email Address
  • Refresh your email (check Inbox and SPAM/JUNK)
  • Click on link provided from us to reset your new password.

Q2. Can I change the username?

No, the username cannot be changed once an account is registered. However, you can still edit your profile to have a different "Display Name" by entering a preferred "Nickname/Company Name".

  • Please provide us with the possible Username(s) or Email(s) that could be used by your company; and the contact number to reach your HR dept.

 

Q4. How do I change the email to receive resumes?

Go to Login/Register , click on My Dashboard , and then Edit Profile to enter a new email and update your profile.

 

Q5. How will I receive resumes?

You will receive Resumes via 2 ways;

  • Resumes submitted from our system
  • Resumes submitted directly from Job Seekers' personal email

 

Q6. How do I edit my profile and change the avatar?

Go to My Dashboard, click on Edit Profile, to change your custom avatar.

TIP: Logo should be in square dimension 200 by 200 pixels

 

Q7. Can I close a job posting before it expires?

Yes, go to My Dashboard, under the "Published Jobs", click on "End" that is found above "Actions"

 

Q8. When will my job listing be successfully published?

Paypal Online Payment:

  • You will be directed to the payment page to proceed with payment; once your transaction has been completed, your job listing will be published live upon our final approval checks.

Cheque/Bank Transfer:

  • Your job listing will be published live upon payment confirmation and our final approval checks.

We will never release job seeker's information to anyone. Companies can view your information only if you had specifically applied for their jobs. As a gentle reminder, please do not respond to any scam emails that aren't from us.
